Is your shop licensed?
- Yes we are licensed by the state of Michigan for both tattooing and piercing. We are also certified in blood borne pathogen prevention.
Where is your shop located?
- We are located at 1506 W. Michigan Ave Kalamazoo MI 49006. Please see our "the SHOP" section of our website for more detailed directions.
What are your shop hours?
- We are open Monday through Saturday from 1:00pm - 9:00pm and open on Sundays from 1:00pm - 6:00 pm
(we will open other hours by appointment)
What are the accepted methods of payment?
- Like most small businesses with independent contractors:
**CASH IS PREFERRED**
However we also accept both credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover only)
Do I have to make an appointment?
- Not at all! We gladly accept both walk-ins and appointments everyday as long as our schedule allows us to do so.
I want a tattoo but I don't know what I want, can you help?
- We are artists and love to draw up personal, one of a kind tattoos for you. It's more exciting for us and more exciting for you. Bring in your pictures or ideas and let us come up with some ideas for your approval.
Does it Hurt?
- Everyone's pain tolerance level is different. The amount of discomfort that you will feel depends entirely on what you are getting done and what area of your body is being tattooed or pierced. Most people find the amount of pain from a tattoo or piercing to be minimal to moderate.
Do you use sterile needles?
- YES. All of our needles, inks and equipment are completely sterile and single use. We open everything in front of you before your work and discard everything in front of you after your work as well. Anything that is not purchased pre-sterilized we personally sterilize in our shops autoclave which has monthly documented spore testing done by an independent agency to be in accordance with CDC requirements and local health department regulations. This also includes jewelry we use for piercing, tubes, tools and so forth.
I am under 18, can I get a tattoo or piercing?
Yes, but the following must apply:
- A legal guardian must accompany the minor to the shop.
- The minor and the guardian both must have photo ID's
- a birth certificate or guardianship papers for the minor needs to be brought
- You must be at least 16 to get any tattoo
- We reserve the right to refuse any service we deem unsuitable for any minors.
How much do your tattoos and piercings cost?
- Our tattoos start at $40 and go up in price depending on the size and detail of your tattoo. Our piercings range in price but start at $25 dollars and come with free basic jewelry.
