About New Addiction

New Addiction opened in 2002 and fast became one of the best and most reputable shops in the Midwest. Being in its 10th year of business, New Addiction is one of the longest standing tattoo shops in Kalamazoo.  New Addiction houses three very talented artists who create creative, custom, original, works of art. We also have very experienced piercers, who can perform almost any standard, surface or exotic piercing, including micro dermal anchors.  Be sure to check out the Artist and Piercer sections of the website to see photos of their work.

Our entire staff is CPR certified and trained in blood borne pathogen prevention. We use only single use needles and ink. All of our equipment is completely sterilized by an autoclave which has monthly documented spore testing done by an independent agency to be in accordance with CDC requirements and local health department regulations.

For those familiar with the area, We are on West Michigan Ave which is directly off from Stadium Dr. We are on the East side of WMU, just down the street from the Berndhart Center/Bronco Mall, in between Kinkos Copy Center,  Waldo's Campus Tavern and the Roadhouse. Our shop neighbors are the Odyssey (formerly the RocketStar Cafe),  Waldo's Campus Tavern,  the International Gourmet, Bruno's pizza and Kinkos. We are directly across from the Kanley Running Track (by the Rec center) and right near Waldo Stadium.
